TEQULA SUNRISE
Perfect for a late afternoon drink
DESCRIPTION
Its name comes from the beautiful sunrise effect created as the ingredients blend together. This famous cocktail even inspired a song by the American rock band The Eagles and a film directed by Robert Towne.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.7 oz Toro de Lidia Tequila
- 3.4 oz orange juice
- 0.8 oz grenadine
- ½ lemon slice
- 1 cherry
PREPARATION
Shake the tequila, orange juice, and crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a tall glass and add ice cubes until almost full. Slowly pour the grenadine so it sinks to the bottom and gradually rises, creating the sunrise effect. Garnish with a lemon slice, cherry, and a straw.
